Who we are
Protech Security is a private security company based in Nairobi, serving homes, businesses, NGOs, event organisers and project owners across Kenya and East Africa.
We started with a simple idea: a guard at the gate is only as good as the training behind them and the supervisor checking on them. So we recruit carefully, train every officer before deployment, and back every site with a 24-hour control room and response teams.
Today we provide the full range of security services under one roof, from guards and dogs to CCTV, alarms, cash in transit, close protection, fire response and investigations. That means one contract, one account manager and one number to call.

What we stand for
Vetted, trained people
Every officer is screened, including a Certificate of Good Conduct and references, and completes our training before their first shift. Guards are paid properly and on time, because a guard who is looked after looks after your site.
Visible supervision
Supervisors carry out unannounced checks day and night. You get regular written reports, and you always know who your account manager is.
Straight answers
You get a clear written quote, with no hidden extras. If something goes wrong on your site, we tell you what happened and what we're changing.
How we train our officers
Training is where security companies cut corners. We don't. Every Protech guard completes a structured course before deployment, followed by on-site induction and regular refreshers.

Compliance and licensing
Protech Security operates under the Private Security Regulation Act, 2016. Our registration details, insurance cover and statutory compliance documents are available to clients on request.
Armed services are provided with licensed armed officers, in line with Kenyan firearms law, and every armed deployment is planned around a written risk assessment.
Where we work
Our teams cover Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret, Thika, Machakos, Nyeri and towns across Kenya. For project and contract work we also deploy in Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, South Sudan, Ethiopia and Burundi.
