Questions about manned guarding
How many guards does my site need?
It depends on the number of entry points, the size of the perimeter and whether you need cover day, night or around the clock. A 24-hour post normally needs a day guard and a night guard, plus relief cover. We work this out during the free site assessment.
Can I request a specific guard to stay on my site?
Yes. We keep the same guards on your site wherever possible, because a guard who knows your people and routines is more effective. Relief guards are inducted before they cover.
What happens if a guard doesn't turn up?
Our control room checks every post at the start of each shift. If a guard is absent, a relief guard is sent and you are told.
